Anton W. Denk, CFP®, ChFC

After giving up on his childhood aspirations of playing for the Green Bay Packers AND being a rock star, Tony began his career in financial services in 1991. Early experience included selling mortgages which led to selling life & disability insurance — which, in turn, led to selling mutual funds.

In 1996, Tony joined a financial planning and asset management firm in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. That position also included adjunct teaching of retirement planning classes at colleges and universities in Northeast Wisconsin. That educational environment introduced Tony to many people who became, and remain, loyal clients that he serves to this day. He strives to live up to his core belief that “Trust is Everything” in business and in life.

The opportunity to expand and improve his practice came in 2005 when Tony and Debbie made the move to Phoenix, Arizona and joined the financial advisory firm of Denk Strategic Wealth Partners.

DSWP was founded by Tony’s brother Ron in 1991 as a fiduciary firm providing discretionary investment services and options not typically available from ‘big box’ investment firms.* Tony and Ron use a ‘divide and conquer’ approach to market research and analysis, with each of them focusing on different market segments. They then compare several non-proprietary sources before making decisions for clients’ portfolios.

An alum of the University of Wisconsin, Tony received his Certified Financial Planner professional (CFP®) designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards in 1999. He earned his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 2003 from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

Tony seeks to keep up with the ever-changing world of financial planning by studying and attending conferences focusing on retirement planning, estate planning and taxation.

Tony’s wife, Debbie, is also his executive assistant. They spend their winters in Phoenix and summers in Oshkosh, WI. They are active community volunteers and enjoy hiking in Arizona and bicycling in Wisconsin. Tony is an avid reader and public speaker; he enjoys woodworking and still plays the drums.
